Talkinvestment.info is a platform for intelligent debate on foreign direct investment (FDI) and development.

It is provided by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) as part of its mandate on FDI and as a tool for broadening and developing its work.

Participation in Talkinvestment.info is encouraged from all, the aim being to diverge from the orthodox and broach new ideas.

UNCTAD was set up in 1964 to assist the development-friendly integration of countries into the global economy. Within UNCTAD, the Division on Investment, Technology and Enterprise Development, which operates Talkinvestment.info, assists developing countries to benefit from FDI.
